Mental Health

Support with Mental Health

Life can feel overwhelming at times… whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, burnout, grief, or simply a sense that something isn’t right, you don’t have to wait until things get worse to seek help. Therapy can offer space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s going on.

Alongside my counselling qualifications, I have specialist training in mental health which deepens my understanding of the symptoms, causes, and evidence-based treatment for a wide range of mental health problems. This knowledge allows me to combine emotional support with a clear understanding of how mental health difficulties develop, how they affect daily life, and the strategies that can support recovery and long-term wellbeing.

Therapy offers time to explore what’s beneath the surface, finding new ways of coping, whilst helping you to reconnect with yourself.

How I Work with Mental Health

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on different therapeutic models to suit your unique needs. I combine Gestalt therapy, CBT, person-centred counselling, and creative interventions to help you learn more about your mental health, whilst working on positive change, healing and a happier, fulfilling life.

I believe mental health is best supported when we work with the whole of your experiences, taking into account your past and your present life and working on ways you can improve your mental health for the foreseeable.

This may involve exploring patterns of thought and behaviour, processing past experiences, and developing practical strategies to help you cope with challenges in your day-to-day life.

The focus is always on working at your pace, in a way that feels safe and supportive.

My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that every person is capable of growth and healing.
